Starting back out on 9-11-2011
Hi Everyone, I just wanted to let everyone know I am leaving on September 11, 2011, to continue my 'CROSS America' journey. This day would be my son David’s' 26th Birthday. He lived to be 21 years and 11 months and died on August 14, 2007, while on his way to work. My daughter Lindsay and her husband, Brad, will be having their first baby on or around the 27th of July 2011. His name is Hunter David. The reason I have shared this information with you is because I know you will understand a father’s pain, with the loss of his only son and the need to share the 4th year of David’s death with his Family. Through the losses in our lives’ our faith is tested; however I know the faith of a mustard seed, can move mountains. I have truly enjoyed my travels so far; I have shared my story and others, with people who needed to share theirs or find hope and a way to ease their pain. This time I am taking my car, instead of my 30' ft Winnebago to finish this journey. There are many reasons for my decision; however my primary being closer to the earth. While I Walk a 'CROSS’ America, sharing nights in secluded area's camping, on the ground instead of in the RV would be my prefrence. I also have FREEDOM to go further and see more people in my car. There are always motels available... I will post more after I get on the road, thanks for your witnessing the Miracles that only God can do for all of us. Our faith cannot be tested in calm seas.
